Gorse Farm House is a truly peaceful place to stay, nestling amongst the patchwork quilt of fields and oak woods between Sturminster Newton and Bulbarrow Hill. In this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is the home of Wendy and her husband Lee, who is a woodcarver.

Lying in the Blackmore Vale, this former farmhouse sits in a secluded hollow off the beaten track, but within easy reach of many of the attractions of Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire. It is also prime walking country and lies adjacent to the North Dorset Cycleway.

The house has been extensively refurbished and offers plenty of parking (some under cover). There are two guest bedrooms, an ensuite double/twin and a double/twin with private bathroom.

Start the day in our lovely conservatory which receives the first of the sun over Bulbarrow Hill. Sit and enjoy your full English or Continental breakfast in these most pleasing surroundings.

Alternatively, take time out to sit and just while the time away in this very peaceful spot.

For a more cosy feel, put your feet up in the snug to watch TV, listen to the radio, read and just take it easy.
